Ramapo College of New Jersey held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the newly opened Transfer Center and Veterans Lounge on campus. The College welcomes more than 900 transfer students each year, and currently enrolls 63 veteran students. The space is designed to be a hub of resources and is furnished with computers, couches, a television and charging station. Furnishings were provided courtesy of a $5,000 grant from Enterprise Holdings. Pictured from left are veteran student Joseph Salazar, Transfer Connections Student Intern Kathryn Brennan, Bergen County Executive James Tedesco, Jeremy Cosmillo of Enterprise, Ramapo College Board of Trustee Gary Montroy, Matthew Lawlor of Enterprise, Mahwah Mayor Bill Laforet, Ramapo College Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Affairs Christopher Romano, Veterans Student Organization President Joseph Barbato, and veteran student Steven Pierce.
